How did you come up with the idea for this product? I first came across shirt stays in military school when I wore them for inspections. I forgot about them for years until I had a sales job that required me to give presentations several times per day. I pulled my old shirt stays out of the closet but they were cheap, falling apart and didn't always hold. That's when I created my own and launched FancyBoy & Co.

What makes your product special? Shirt stays have been around in some form or fashion for around 100 years. They've been primarily used by police, military, and fashionable men in the know. Now we're taking a classic menswear accessory, updating it with premium materials, designs, and construction so we can bring them to guys everywhere.

What has been the best part of your experience? We love spreading the word about shirt stays. We get notes all the time from guys saying "I can't believe I didn't know these were a thing" and "I won't wear a button-down shirt without them". It's been a rewarding and fun experience starting a business.
